Frequently asked questions
Can I go to my own doctor?
No — the exam must be performed by a government-approved panel physician from the destination country’s official list. Your GP cannot sign off on it.
What happens if I fail?
Most 'failures' are conditions requiring follow-up, not outright rejection. Active tuberculosis or untreated syphilis can block the visa, but most cases just require treatment documentation.
